Imua Lahainaluna!

Plan for a year— plant taro. Plan for ten years— plant koa. Plan for one hundred years— teach the children.

~Hawaiian proverb

Welcome to Maui IMPACT

We’re a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization providing free sports clinics for Lahainaluna High School and our Maui keiki. Our clinics are led by professional athletes, Olympians and elite-level coach volunteers who kōkua our Ohana with aloha, donating their time and talent to the youth athletes of our fire-devastated community.

Our Team

We work with a vast network of universities, sports leagues, corporations, foundations, and educational institutions to create support in many sports for our students and community.

THE LUNAS BASEBALL TEAM

Having lost their home field to the August 2023 fires, the Lunas baseball team have not had a facility to use since. Last season (2024) they shared the football field with the track team to practice, using a portable mound— hardly adequate circumstances. The closest field of regulation size for high school baseball is a 30-40 minute one-way drive. In addition to fundraising for a new on-campus practice field and sourcing equipment for the team, Maui IMPACT is planning the first Lahainaluna Sports Clinic for baseball in early 2025. Clinics are also in the works for softball, soccer and football, with golf, tennis, volleyball and basketball clinics to be added in the 2025-26 school year.
